TOUR DE L’ARDECHE: JASINSKA IS THE BEST CLIMBER AND STEPPED ON THE PODIUM IN THE LAST STAGE

Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche, the French stage race in which #Yellowfluorange ladies have been protagonist, ended yesterday.

Malgorzata Jasinska conquered the overall ranking for climbers and stepped on the podium in the last stage, too (3rd). While Flavia Oliveira fall down during the first stage and was forced to leave the race.

Alé Cipollini Galassia’s athletes performed very good on Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche’s roads. After a difficult and unlucky start, because of Flavia Oliveira’s fall in the first stage, Fabiana Luperini had to study a different race strategy without her. Poland National Champion Malgorzata Jasinska was the absolut protagonist who got very close to the victory two times: she arrived 2nd in the 5th stage and 3rd in the last one. While before the last stage after a long escape she conquered the jersey dedicated to climbers. The next day she improved her advantage and won the overall ranking. Young #yellowfluorange Beatrice Rossato was great too, always ready to help her teammates, even if it was her first time with them.

“After Flavia’s fall, we had to change our plans and we decided to attack, we were very controlled and it was not easy to escape but every girl tried to. Malgorzata, who was not in her best shape because of a virus, proved that her value is guaranteed. Beatrice Rossato has been great, too, a young girl who wants to learn, to grow and who works really hard, I like her. The tour has been long and demanding, we were looking for the victory through escapes, gaining very good placements and getting very close to the victory for two times thanks to Janiska. I am really satisfied and I am sure that with some luck we might have collected a better result. Now, we are looking with optimism to the other appointments of the season”. This is what #yellowfluorange Sports Director Fabiana Luperini said, after the stage race.
