ALESSANDRO IACCHI INVESTITO IN ALLENAMENTO –

Non è iniziato nel migliore dei modi il 2021 di Alessandro Iacchi che durante l’allenamento odierno è stato investito da un furgone mentre si trovava a poche centinaia di metri da casa, in quel di Rufina.

Il corridore toscano della Vini Zabù – Pro Cycling Team, classe 1999, non poteva evitare l’impatto con il mezzo, proveniente dalla direzione opposta, il cui conducente si è fermato per accertarsi delle condizioni di Iacchi che se l’è cavata con delle contusioni ma senza nulla di rotto.

“Oggi mi sento molto fortunato perchè l’incidente è avvenuto a velocità ridotta ma quando ho visto il furgone venirmi addosso ho avuto tanta paura. Mi fa male la schiena e ho qualche contusione ma vedendo in che condizioni è la mia bici penso proprio di averla scampata bella. E’ triste vedere che nonostante i tanti incidenti di questi ultimi anni sia sempre pericoloso pedalare sulle nostre strade ma sono pronto a ripartire con più convizione di prima”.

ALESSANDRO IACCHI HAS BEEN RUN OVER BY A VAN

The season didn’t start well for Alessandro Iacchi that during today’s training was run over by a van while he was training in his home town, Rufina.

The tuscanian Vini Zabù – Pro Cycling Team rider, born in 1999, couldn’t avoid the impact with the van that was coming in the opposite direction. The driver stopped to assist Iacchi that luckily hasn’t suffered any fracture.

“I feel very lucky because the crash occurred when the speed wasn’t high but when I saw that the van wasn’t going to stop I was terrified. I have pain on my back and some bruises on my body but at the same time when I take a look at the conditions of my bike I can only say that I managed to get away with it. It’s sad to notice that, despite all the accidents occurred over the past few years, the situation on the roads is so dangerous but I’m ready to restart with more motivations”.
