BARDIANI: CARBONI INVESTITO DA UN AUTO IN ALLENAMENTO

Grande spavento nella tarda mattina di oggi per Giovanni Carboni, vittima di un incidente stradale mentre era in allenamento a Fano.

In prossimità di una rotonda l’atleta della Bardiani-CSF è stato investito da un’automobile che, con la ruota posteriore, gli ha procurato lo schiacciamento della piede sinistro. L’automobilista è stato il primo a prestare soccorso a Carboni, poi raggiunto dal padre.

Nonostante il forte dolore e l’impossibilità a camminare, gli accertamenti clinici svolti al pronto soccorso non hanno evidenziato fratture bensì una slogatura alla caviglia sinistra e una forte contusione ai tendini del piede.

Carboni non potrà prendere parte alla Oberösterreichrundfahr dal 14 al 17 giugno (al suo posto Michael Bresciani) e osserverà qualche giorno di riposo assoluto prima di ipotizzare il rientro alle corse.

 

 

CARBONI HIT BY A CAR DURING TRAINING

 

Big fright for Giovanni Carboni this morning after that he has been involved in a traffic accident during a training in his home town, Fano. Near to a roundabout, the rider of Bardiani-CSF has been hit by a car and the rear wheel ran over his left foot. The driver immediately provided assistance to the Carboni, then the father took him to the hospital.

Despite sever pain and the inability to walk, medical checks excluded fractures but highlighted an ankle sprain and heavy contusions to feet tendons.

Due to the injury, Carboni won’t race Oberösterreichrundfahr (June 14-17), replaced by Michael Bresciani and will take few days of rest before to understand when he will be able to come back racing.
