Una prestazione maiuscola da parte di tutti e nove i corridori della LAMPRE-MERIDA ha consentito alla formazione diretta dai tecnici Mauduit, Pedrazzini e Marzano di ottenere un piazzamento di prestigio nella cronosquadra valevole come 9^tappa del Tour de France.
La LAMPRE-MERIDA si è classificata all’8° posto, percorrendo i 28 km da Vannes a Plumelec in 33’03”, alla media oraria di 50,832 km/h e avvicinandosi o addirittura sopravanzando formazioni solitamente protagoniste delle prove contro il tempo
L’interpretazione della gara da parte della squadra blu-fucsia-verde è stata perfetta, con un ritmo sempre alto e mezzi meccanici, le Merida Warp TT, pronti ad assecondare la potenza dei corridori.
A riprova dell’ottima giornata, il riscontro cronometrico sullo strappo verso il traguardo (1,7 km al 6,2%), settore nel quale la LAMPRE-MERIDA ha fatto registrare la seconda prestazione dietro alla BMC.
La squadra americana ha vinto la tappa, col tempo di 32’15”.
Il Tour de France si appresta a vivere il primo giorno di riposo con Froome in maglia gialla, mentre Rui Costa si trova il 23^posizione a 5’20”.

Team LAMPRE-MERIDA realized an impressive performance in the team time trial Vannes-Plumelec, 28 km.
In the 9th stage of the Tour de France, the team directed by Mauduit, Pedrazzini and Marzano obtained the 8th place, covering the hilly course in 33’03” (average speed 50,832 km/h).
The blue-fuchsia-green riders were perfect in keeping a high pace and to push on the pedal of the Merida Warp TT in a powerful way.
One data can give an idea of the good performance by the team: on the last hill (1,7 km, 6,2%), LAMPRE-MERIDA realized the second best performance, just behind BMC, which was the winning team of the stage.
Froome is still the yellow jersey and Rui Costa is 23rd at 5’20”: tomorrow, rest day for everybody.
