E’ in Corso Sempione, Milano, che la LAMPRE-MERIDA ha celebrato la fine di un Giro d’Italia dal bilancio eccezionale: 4 vittorie, 2 terzi posti, 3 giorni in maglia blu (classifica Gpm) di Jan Polanc e 4 premiazioni come migliore squadra di tappa.
Roberto Ferrari, Tsgabu Grmay (primo ciclista africano di colore a completare il Giro d’Italia), Sacha Modolo, Manuele Mori, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Janp Polanc, Maximiliano Richeze, Diego Ulissi e Xu Gang: questi i nove corridori che, sotto la direzione dei tecnici Orlando Maini, Marco Marzano e Daniele Righi, hanno dato lustro alla squadra e ai suoi sponsor sulle strade d’Italia.
L’ultima frazione della Corsa Rosa (178 km da Torino a Milano) non ha rispettato le previsioni, ovvero non si è chiusa con la prevedibile volata a ranghi compatti: Keisse e Durbridge sono fuoriusciti dal gruppo nell’ingresso del circuito finale meneghino (5,4 km da percorrere 7 volte) e, sfruttando le numerose forature che hanno colpito vari velocisti, sono riusciti a giungere a giocarsi il successo in una volata a due, vinta da Keisse.
Sfumata quindi la possibilità per Modolo di centrare il tris di successi (il veneto ha tagliato il traguardo in 13^posizione).
Con Contador in rosa, il primo corridore della LAMPRE-MERIDA in classifica generale è Niemiec, 40°.

In Milan, the Team LAMPRE-MERIDA celebrated the end of the Giro d’Italia which gave to the blue-fuchsia-green team many satisfactions.
Four victories, two second places, three days for Polanc wearing the blue jersey (Kom leader jersey) and four awards as the best team of the stage: this is what the LAMPRE-MERIDA achieved in the Pink Race.
Roberto Ferrari, Tsgabu Grmay (first black African cyclist ever to complete the Giro d’Italia), Sacha Modolo, Manuele Mori, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Janp Polanc, Maximiliano Richeze, Diego Ulissi and Xu Gang: nine cyclists who gave exposure and visibility to the team and its sponsors on the Italian roads.
The final stage epilogue was different from what everybody could think, in fact there was no massive sprint in Milan, but a duo arrival: Keisse and Durbridge exploited their qualities to escape from the bunch in the final circuit (5,4 km, 7 laps) and they succeded to reach the arrival also thanks to the contemporary punctures of many sprinters.
Keisse preceded Durbridge in the sprint.
Modolo was 13th in the stage, while Niemiec is 40th in the final overall classification (Contador is the winner of the Giro d’Italai 2015).
