Trento offre un ricco programma di eventi in tutte le stagione dell’anno. Ma da novembre a gennaio la città diventa un magico presepe
Ogni momento dell’anno è quello giusto per visitare Trento. La città è talmente bella, accogliente e ricca di attrattive che, in ogni stagione, offre ai visitatori suggestioni sempre diverse. Nel periodo delle feste, però, Trento da il meglio di sé e, come incastonata in un grande presepe, diventa per tutti la “Città del Natale”. Le luci e gli addobbi allestiti nelle piazze cittadine accompagnano grandi e piccini in un’atmosfera unica attraverso il ricco programma di eventi e animazioni organizzato dall’amministrazione comunale.
Durante i fine settimana, sotto il tradizionale albero illuminato, i bambini possono visitare la casa di Babbo Natale e ricevere un piccolo regalo, una caramella o un libricino. Oppure partecipare ad una delle tante divertenti attività educative che si svolgono nella “Casetta degli Elfi”: da quelle legate alle fattorie didattiche trentine, alle proposte riguardanti attività manuali o grafiche in cui i bimbi vengono sensibilizzati giocando sui temi della solidarietà e del riciclo. E dopo aver giocato o partecipato ad una piccola recita, tutti in carrozza sul trenino di Babbo Natale.
Per chi è troppo cresciuto per sedersi sulle ginocchia di Santa Claus invece è assolutamente da non perdere una passeggiata fra le tradizionali casette dei mercatini del centro storico per apprezzare i prodotti dell’artigianato locale o assaggiare le specialità enogastronomiche trentine in un percorso allietato dalla musica dei concerti itineranti o dal canto dei cori di montagna che da queste parti sono una vera istituzione.
A Trento vivrete davvero un Natale da favola.
TRENTO, THE CHRISTMAS CITY
Trento offers a rich program of events throughout the year. But from November to January, the city becomes a magical nativity scene
Every moment of the year is the right one to visit Trento. The city is so beautiful, welcoming and full of attractions that, in every season, offers visitors always different awesomeness. During Christmas Holidays, however, Trento gives the best of itself and, as set in a large nativity scene, becomes for everyone the “Christmas City”. The lights and decorations set up in the city squares accompany adults and children in a unique atmosphere through the rich program of events and animations organized by the municipal administration.
During the weekends, under the traditional lighted tree, children can visit Santa’s home and receive a small gift, a candy or a booklet. Or they can take part in one of the many fun educational activities that take place in the “Little Elves’ House”: from those related to Trentino educational farms, to proposals concerning manual or graphic activities in which children are sensitized by playing on the themes of solidarity and recycling. And after playing or participating in a small play, let’s go all in a carriage on Santa’s train.
For those who have grown too much to sit on Santa Claus’s lap, on the other hand, it is absolutely not to miss a walk through the traditional little houses of the old town markets to appreciate the local handicrafts or taste the Trentino food and wine specialties in a path enlivened by the music of the touring concerts or the singing of mountain choirs that are a real institution in these places.
