Pomarance (PI),- E’ partita la lunga volata che culminerà domenica 12 aprile con la partenza della Green Fondo Paolo Bettini-Vittoria-La Geotermia alle ore 9.30 da piazza Sant’Anna a Pomarance (Pisa-Toscana).

 

 

Tutto è ormai pronto grazie all’impegno dell’ASD Velo Etruria Pomarance e dei suoi volontari che si stanno occupando degli allestimenti, della logistica e di tutti i servizi che quest’anno sono stati ulteriormente potenziati.

Tra le chicche dell’evento il ricco pacco gara messo a punto dagli organizzatori che verrà dato al momento della formalizzazione delle iscrizioni e del ritiro del numero a tutti i concorrenti della Green Fondo Paolo Bettini-Vittoria-la Geotermia, valida come 3a prova del Giro del Granducato 2015.

 

“Il pacco gara è uno dei simboli di ogni granfondo che si rispetti. Diventa un biglietto da visita della manifestazione, un ricordo da portare a casa con se dell’impresa fatta in bicicletta” spiega Maurizio Maggi che è a capo del comitato organizzatore. “Allo stesso tempo però il pacco gara è anche un’importante opportunità di visibilità per i nostri sponsor che attraverso un gadget o un leaflet possono lasciare un segno tangibile in mano ai concorrenti che hanno scelto di partecipare a questo evento. Tra gli eventi collaterali si ricorda l’appuntamento enogastronomico del sabato pomeriggio “Dalla padella alla…bici” con corso di cucina in agriturismo, con andata e ritorno in bicicletta (totale 4km) per le mogli e gli accompagnatori dei concorrenti. Un’atra peculiarità enogastronomica della Green Fondo sarà il pranzo post gara a base di cinghiale, gratuito e aperto a tutti i concorrenti e gli accompagnatori.

 

Tra le altre opportunità turistiche legate alla Green Fondo Paolo Bettini-Vittoria-la Geotermia si ricorda l’apertura nel week-end dei musei del paese di Pomaranc: “Guerrieri e Artigiani” e “Casa Bicocchi” e inoltre il bus navetta gratuito da Pomarance per la visita al Museo della Geotermia di Larderello.

Pomarance (PI), 07 April, 2015 – The final sprint is on for the race that will wrap up on Sunday, April 12th, in Pomarance (Pisa-Tuscany), as the Green Fondo Paolo Bettini-Vittoria-La Geotermia sets off from piazza Sant’Anna at 9:30 a.m. Thanks to the hard work and commitment by the ASD Velo Etruria Pomarance Association and its corps of volunteers, everything is ready to go; The hosting structures are all set up, and the logistics and services have been further improved this year.

Highlights of the event will include the generous race package that has been carefully selected by the organizers and which will be handed out to all registered competitors in the Green Fondo Paolo Bettini-Vittoria-la Geotermia once they sign in to pick up their race numbers.

 

“The race package is a calling card for any worthy granfondo contest. It’s a reminder of the event, a souvenir to take home, in order to never forget this personal cycling challenge” explains Maurizio Maggi, who heads the organizing committee. “At the same time, the race package is an important chance for our partners to stimulate recognition for their brand. Special Events. As for events correlated to the race, don’t miss the wine and food initiative on Saturday afternoon called “From the frying pan to the…bike” – “Dalla padella alla…bici”. This incentive offers a (4k round trip) leisure bike ride to a working farm, where friends and partners of race participants will be offered a cooking class. Another wine and food specialty of the Green Fondo will be the post-race lunch featuring wild boar. The meal is free for all participants and their supporters.

 

Tourism infos. Other tourism programs associated to the Green Fondo Paolo Bettini-Vittoria-la Geotermia regard the opening of two local museums: “Guerrieri e Artigiani” (Warriors and Craftsmen) and “Casa Bicocchi”.
