VINI FANTINI – NIPPO DE ROSA, GIRO DEL TRENTINO

Alla terza tappa del Giro del Trentino il capitano #OrangeBlue arriva con il leader della corsa Richie Porte a 5’’ dal vincitore di tappa Pozzovivo.

 

Il quinto posto di tappa vale anche il quinto posto della classifica generale. Domani la tappa conclusiva e decisiva.

Oggi si è corsa la terza tappa del Giro del Trentino. Ancora tappa montana e ancora Damiano Cunego tra i protagonisti. Quinto sul traguardo, ma nel gruppo dei migliori con il leader della corsa Richie Porte a soli 5’’ dal vincitore odierno Pozzovivo. Grazie al piazzamento di oggi Damiano Cunego guadagna anche una posizione nella classifica generale posizionandosi quinto a 1’13’’ dalla testa della corsa e a meno di 15” dal podio.

 

Stefano Giuliani ds del team è soddisfatto ma dispiaciuto: “Damiano si sentiva bene, talmente bene che è stato lui a provarci. Forse con un pizzico di egoismo in più avrebbe potuto tenersi e fare ancor più la differenza con gli abbuoni finali ma quando ti senti la gamba giusta è difficile fare calcoli. Domani i chilometri e le salite di questi giorni si faranno sentire, ma sarà così per tutti, noi ci proveremo fino alla fine.”

 

Domani la tappa conclusiva e decisiva del Giro del Trentino da Malè a Cles della lunghezza di 161 km. L’arrivo è previsto intorno alle ore 14.00 e come sempre un’ampia sintesi sarà trasmessa su Raisport.

GIRO DEL TRENTINO: FIFTH PLACE ON THE THIRD STAGE FOR DAMIANO CUNEGO THAT NOW IS 5th ALSO IN THE GENERAL RANKING.

 

 

In the third stage of the Giro del Trentino the #OrangeBlue leader Damiano Cunego arrived with the leader Richie Porte a 5” from the winner of the stage Pozzovivo. The fifth position on the arrival of the stage gives also the 5th position of the general ranking.

Today the third stage of the Giro del Trentino has reserved other emotions to the #OrangeBlue with Damiano Cunego among best riders of the day. Fifth on the arrival, but with the leader of the general ranking Richie Porte and 5” after Pozzovivo. Thanks to today placement Damiano Cunego reached also the 5th place on the general ranking, with 1’13’’ from the head of the race and less than 15’’ from the virtual podium.

 

Stefano Giuliani, ds of the team is happy but with a little bit of regrets: “Damiano was feeling very good today. It has been a little to generous but when you are feeling good it is difficult to calculate and wait other riders actions. Tomorrow all this climbs will be on the legs of the riders but we will try to improve Damiano final ranking until the last Km.”

 

Tomorrow the last stage of the tour from Malè to Cles. 161 km. The arrival will be around 2.00 p.m.
