LA NUOVA GRANFONDO ÈDDY MERCKX

Cambia nome e location. Rimane la preziosa organizzazione firmata ALÉ. Alessia Piccolo: “Pronti a diventare una delle Granfondo di riferimento d’Italia”.

 

“ALÉ La Merckx”. La Granfondo del Cannibale cambia nome e città: il 12 giugno 2016 partirà – e arriverà – a Verona. Dopo nove anni di attività, con oltre 15.000 partecipanti sulle strade di Rivalta di Brentino Belluno, la macchina organizzativa della GF Eddy Merckx guidata da dall’azienda leader nella produzione di abbigliamento tecnico da ciclismo ALÉ cambia città e nome. “Sono stati nove anni fantastici” – sottolinea Alessia Piccolo, General Manager ALÉ – “E per questo ringrazio di cuore il Comune di Rivalta di Brentino, le forze dell’ordine, i volontari e le associazioni che, con grande entusiasmo e professionalità, sono stati al nostro fianco (…). Per crescere ulteriormente, dal 2016 abbiamo scelto di spostarci a Verona, nostra città di appartenenza, per costruire un evento di riferimento del calendario granfondistico internazionale. In questi anni ci siamo messi alla prova e abbiamo rodato l’organizzazione per garantire professionalità e qualità ai ciclisti d’Europa. Ora puntiamo a crescere ancora”.

 

Nuova città, quindi, che garantirà, vantaggi logistici e organizzativi per la maggiore affluenza, oltre a conquistare i cuori di tutti gli appassionati di ciclismo. Inoltre, per sottolineare quanto la Gran Fondo Eddy Merckx ed ALÉ siano due facce della stessa medaglia, dalla prossima edizione il nome dell’evento si fonde in “ALÉ – La Merckx. La Granfondo del Cannibale”.

 

Due cambiamenti che segnano il cambio di passo dell’evento che, da punto di riferimento assoluto per il Triveneto, ora guarda al mercato internazionale per crescere ed affermarsi. 

 

 

THE NEW MARATHON EDDY MERCKX

 

It changes name and location, but the organizing team stays the same and it is ALÉ . Alessia Piccolo: “We are ready to become one of the Marathon reference in Italy”.

 

 

“ALÉ La Merckx”. The Marathon of Cannibal changes its name and its locations: June 12th 2016 it will start and arrive in Verona. After 9 years of activities, and more than 15.000 participants on the roads of Rivalta di Brentino Belluno, the GF Eddy Mercks organizing team, lad by Alè, the leader of the cycling technical clothing production, moves and changes the race’s name. “The last 9 years have been a great journey”, says Alessia Piccolo, the General Manager of ALÉ, “So I would like to really thank Rivalta di Brentino administration, its police department, the volounteers and the associations that helped us with great enthusiasm and professionalism (…). In order to grow further, we decided to move to Verona as of 2016, which is our hometown. We want to create a milestone event in the International Granfondo calendar. In the past years, we have challenged ourselves and learnt a lot in order to guarantee an high quality and professional event that the European cyclists can attend. Now our objective is to grow further”.

 

The race will be set in a new city, that will gurantee logistic and organization advantages due to the expected higher attendency; a city that will conquer the hear of all the cycling passionates. Moreover, to stress even more that Gran Fondo Eddy Merckx and ALÉ are the same thing, as of next edition the race will be called “ALÉ La Merckx. The Marathon of Cannibal”.

 

Two big changes that reveal the intent of bringing the whole event to the next level: from the most important race in Northern Italy, to the international Market, in order to grow and be recognized more and more.
