VINI ZABÙ – KTM: GIOVANNI VISCONTI TITOLARE CON LA NAZIONALE ITALIANA A IMOLA 2020

E’ arrivata la convocazione più attesa, quella che certifica il grande lavoro svolto in quest’anno complicato per la Vini Zabù – KTM. 

Dopo aver fatto parte della preselezione di 13 corridori, Giovanni Visconti sarà tra gli 8 Azzurri che domenica tenteranno l’assalto al titolo iridato in quel di Imola, diretti in ammiraglia da Davide Cassani.

Per il corridore siciliano si tratterà dell’ottava partecipazione ad un Mondiale, un attestato di stima per le prestazioni eccellenti offerte in maglia azzurra, non ultima all’Europeo di Plouay dello scorso 26 agosto.

“Sono chiaramente soddisfatto, questa convocazione mi ripaga di tutti gli sforzi che finora non si sono tramutati in vittorie in una stagione così difficile. Fare di nuovo parte del gruppo azzurro mi dà un morale altissimo, vuol dire sentirmi apprezzato. Per domenica metterò in campo tutta la mia esperienza a servizio della squadra come ho sempre fatto nel corso degli anni e spero di godermi a pieno questa giornata con questa maglia che rimane la più bella del mondo”.

IMOLA 2020: GIOVANNI VISCONTI SELECTED IN THE SQUAD FOR THE ROAD RACE

The most awaited moment has arrived, the certification of the great job made by the team Vini Zabù – KTM in this complicated year.

After being part of the preselection of 13 riders, Giovanni Visconti will be one of the 8 Azzurri that on sunday are gonna give the assault to the World Championships in Imola, directed by Davide Cassani.

For the siciliano rider this will be the eight participation to the World Championships, a sign of esteem for the great performances with the National team, including the Euro Championships of Plouay in August.

“I’m clearly excited, this call means that I’m doing a great job despite the fact that I didn’t win yet in this difficult season. I’m part of this group again and this gives me a high morale as I feel appreciated. On sunday I will put all my experience on the road for the team as I’ve always done along the years and I hope to enjoy this day with the most beautyful jersey in the world”.

The appointment with the race is for sunday at 9:45.
