IL CHALLENGE MALLORCA DA IL VIA ALLA STAGIONE EUROPEA DELLA VINI ZABÙ – KTM

Sarà il Challenge Mallorca a dare il via alla stagione europea della Vini Zabù – KTM per quello che rappresenta l’esordio storico del team di San Baronto nelle Baleari.

Quattro prove dal 30 gennaio al 2 febbraio con percorsi esigenti e ricchi di opportunità a partire dal Trofeo Ses Salines – Felanitx, forse quello più adatto alle ruote veloci, continuando poi con il Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana e il Trofeo Andratx, due percorsi duri che favoriranno gli scalatori. La chiusura domenicale sarà riservata al Trofeo Playa de Palma che dovrebbe sorridere nuovamente alle ruote veloci.

Il DS Francesco Frassi ha deciso di puntare su una selezione di corridori che potranno macinare km nelle gambe provando anche a togliersi delle soddisfazioni. Manuel Bongiorno, Lorenzo Fortunato ed Etienne Van Empel cercheranno di farsi vedere nelle prove altimetricamente più esigenti mentre i due neoprofessionisti Gianmarco Begnoni e Mattia Bevilacqua cercheranno di far valere il loro spunto veloce, supportati da Simone Bevilacqua e dall’altro esordiente Alessandro Iacchi.

The Challenge Mallorca will open the european season of the team Vini Zabù -KTM that will make the debut in the Balearic Islands’ race.

Four days of racing starting from tomorrow with some various and demanding routes with lots of opportunities. The kickoff will be at Trofeo Ses Salines – Felanitx, a day that suites the sprinters, followed by Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana and Trofeo Andratx, two routes for riders with climbing skills. On sunday the Challenge Mallorca will end with Trofeo Playa de Palma that should represent another chance for the sprinters.

The SD Francesco Frassi has selected seven riders that will start their season looking for some chances of achieving a good result. Manuel Bongiorno, Lorenzo Fortunato and Etienne Van Empel will be our men to follow on the hardest races while the two neopros Gianmarco Begnoni and Mattia Bevilacqua will aim for the sprints, both supported by Simone Bevilacqua and by the other neopro, Alessandro Iacchi.
